Everyone is so busy with getting that rank 1, but how do you look in Google?
Rank 1 doesn’t always have to get more traffic then rank 2 or even rank 3.
We all know the importance of good headlines so why not start with the place your website will be seen first. (Google)
When I search for something I mostly pay attention to the result headlines, and it happens more then often that I don’t even click the first 3 results.
Here is a good example:

The first result is not selling his service! The second result is.
I would definitely click on the second result, because of their catching headline.
Rank 1 is making the following mistakes:
- Not having a catching headline.
- Not having a good description what his service is about.
He is probably losing a lot of traffic to rank 2.
Another common result mistake is leaving the date in your description.
Example:

The headline on result 3 is great, but I wouldn’t click on their website because it’s from 2009!
If they removed the dates on there results they would certainly get more traffic from Google.
Always remember that the smallest details can make it or break it.

Martin, Whooahh
I’m in trouble then, because when I created my kfm24 blog. I did the permalinks and I added the post title, post category, and the post DATE,
Ok I guess that little detail right there is going to keep people guessing when they see my article post. I’m at a little dis-advantage oh well whats done is done.
But thank you for this specific post I actually did not think about these small details. I actually taught setting the permalink with a date makes my link more seo optimize

You should definitely remove that date our of your URL.
For most of my affiliates websites I remove the date out of the posts & comments.
With this blog I keep them on for a more organized feeling.
This is a personal website so it’s different.
BUT NOT in the URL haha!
Martin, Yes I’m considering deleting the dates on the link thanks
